The Bethlehem Police are investigating a serious motor vehicle accident that took place on May 12, 2023 at 6:49 pm.
The police responded to a report of a vehicle accident with injures involving a motorcycle at the intersection of E. 3rd and Hayes Street.
Arriving officers located an adult male down on the roadway, according to the police identified to be the operator of the involved motorcycle.
Two additional passenger vehicles were identified as being involved in the accident.
The motorcycle operator was transported to an area hospital with serious injures.
The roadway remained closed for approximately 3 hours as police investigated the scene. The operators of the other involved vehicles stopped at the scene, and are cooperating with the investigation. No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation at this time.
