Boy, 9, had knife at school, 'wanted to use it to hurt someone,' police say

N. WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. - A boy was suspended indefinitely after he took a knife to school.

The 9-year-old was found Thursday morning with a knife at Parkland School District's Schnecksville Elementary School, state police said.

After the knife was taken from him, the boy said he had it because he "wanted to use it to hurt someone," according to a news release from police.
