Dekay's brownsnake common in Pennsylvania

Have you ever seen the Dekay's brownsnake?

This small snake might be responsible for a few startles in backyards or gardens!

It's common in Pennsylvania and often found in urban areas. It's harmless to humans, but beneficial to your garden as they feed on little critters like slugs.

The Pennsylvania Wildlife Action Plan provides a blueprint to help keep common native species common.
