Disney's "Wall-E" will be shown at Percy Ruhe Park in Allentown

Disney's "Wall-E" will be shown on Saturday, August 19 at Percy Ruhe Park in Allentown.


Pre-movie activities start at 5:30 pm, followed by the movie at 8:30 pm.


Food sale proceeds at the concession stand benefit the Allentown Central Catholic High School Mini Vikes. The rain date is Sunday, August 20.




The family-friendly monthly movie nights are run by the Bureau of Recreation as part of the City’s free entertainment lineup this summer. Other "Movie in the Park" opportunities include:


Saturday, September 16 at 7:30pm: “Turning Red” at the Arts Park. The movie is hosted in partnership with the International Cultural Festival, an all-day event at the Arts Park that starts at 11am. Pre-movie night activities (specific to Movies in the Park series) start at 5pm as a supplement to those offered by the International Cultural Festival.

Saturday, October 28 at 6:30pm: “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” at Midway Manor. Pre-movie activities start at 4pm. The movie is hosted in partnership with the Midway Manor Community Association as part of the Midway Manor Halloween at the Park event, which includes a parade, costume awards, and Trunk-or-Treat. Food sale proceeds at the concession stand benefit the Midway Manor Community Association.


All movies will include Spanish subtitles, and attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and/or snacks.
