Forks Township Police Officers Provide Life Saving Aid

FORKS TOWNSHIP, PA


Forks Township Police Officers Provided life saving aid on April 29, 2023 to a 78-year-old man who was unconscious at Picasso Pizza located at 271 Town Center Boulevard.


Corporal Rovinski, Officer Kranich, Officer Kosciuk, and Officer LaMazza all responded to assist with the call.






Upon arrival, officers checked the patient's vitals, which showed no pulse and agonal breathing, according to the report. Officer Kranich continued CPR already in progress, while Corporal Rovinski applied an AED to the patient. Officers continued CPR while the AED cycled through three separate shocks of the patient.


EMS arrived on the scene to treat the patient, who had begun breathing on his own after experiencing a cardiac arrest.


The patient was then treated at the hospital, including the placement of a pacemaker, and has made a full recovery.
