Lehigh Valley Health Network is updating its masking policy.
Beginning April 17, face masks will be optional for patients, guests and employees in most areas where patient care is provided within Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) hospitals and health care facilities according to the news release.
According to LVHN, face masks will still be required in areas where vulnerable patients are being treated like the NICU and Lehigh Valley Topper Cancer Institute sites.
