UPDATE: Easton shooting suspect taken into custody

According to WFMZ News, a man accused in a shooting incident in Easton in April is now in custody.


Oscar Delgado, 20, was arrested Thursday morning in the 100 block of S. College Street in Allentown, said Easton police.


He was wanted on aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and related charges in an April 17 shots fired incident.



Investigators believe two groups familiar with each other were firing shots in the 600 block of Ferry Street. Two houses and three cars were hit by bullets.

Delgado is being held in Lehigh County Prison.


The U.S. Marshal Service Fugitive Task Force, as well as Easton and Allentown police, were involved in the arrest.

Easton Police have obtained an arrest warrant for Oscar Delgado (20 yrs. old) relating to a shooting that occurred on Monday 4/17/23 at approximately 6:30 p.m. in the area of 6th and Ferry Street.

Delgado is facing charges of aggravated assault (4 counts), recklessly endangering another person (2 counts), terroristic threats (2 counts), firearms not to be carried without a license (1 count) and discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure (1 count).


Delgado is suspected to be armed and dangerous.
