The Northampton County Coroner’s Office released the identity of the male that was recovered from the retention pond Sunday April 9th, 2023.
According to the statement from the coroner's office, the victim is identified as Phillip Zulauf of Lower Mt. Bethel Township in Northampton County. He was 75 years of age.
Zulauf's car and belongings were previously discovered near the small reservoir on Depues Road in Lower Mount Bethel on Friday, March 30 according to a report by WFMZ News.
According to the release, the cause and manner of death are pending and no further information will be released at this time.
