Parkland School District will be participating in an Active Shooter Drill in partnership with South Whitehall Township and many of the Lehigh Valley's emergency responders on Wed, Aug 9, from 7 AM - 1 PM at Orefield Middle School.
Many emergency vehicles and personnel will be on site and loud noises will be part of the exercise.
This is a simulation drill only. The entire scenario is fictitious and is not based upon any specific threat. No actual firearms will be used.
