Recyling bins back in stock in the City of Allentown

The 20- and 25-gallon green recycling bins are back in stock in the City of Allentown

These bins are distributed free of charge to residents for curbside recycling collection and can be picked up at the Recycling Office at 641 S. 10th St in Allentown.

The City offers unlimited recycling of household plastics, papers, cardboard, glass, cans and cartons, as long as these items are not bagged and placed in city-issued recycling containers.

Now that they are back in stock, the City will start to enforce that recycling be placed in city-issued recycling containers. Recyclables should not be placed in plastic bags, as they will be rejected.
