Today we remember Officer Daniel “Danny” Rice, who lost his life in the line of duty on April 25, 1997. Officer Rice was killed when his patrol car was broadsided at the intersection of Schoenersville Road and Westgate Drive.
Officer Rice served with the Bethlehem Police Department for 26 years and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam war. He was survived by his wife and three children.
