U. MAKEFIELD TWP., PA.

Two young children are still missing in Buck County after torrential downpours caused flash flooding this past Saturday.

The family was visiting from South Carolina and on their way to a barbecue when it took place.

The father (Jim Sheils), his four-year-old child, and the grandmother were able to escape. Missing are Matilda (Mattie) Sheils: 2 years of age and Conrad Sheils: 9 months of age. His fiancee' and mother of his children (Katie Seley, age 32) also lost her life. Now he is just waiting for his children to be brought home.

The photos were published with the permission of the family.

Upper Makefield Township Police Department stated that the children's father and the entire family would like to thank all of the personnel involved in this massive search effort to find Mattie and Conrad.
