Earlier this evening, Shankweiler's Drive-In Theatre in Orefiled, PA was without power due to a nearby transformer. The power is now restored and movies are playing as scheduled.
The following was posted on their facebook page:
"It's a 4th of July miracle! The power has been restored and we are opening up!!! Gates ARE OPEN NOW and the movies WILL PLAY AS SCHEDULED! Thank you to PPL and crew for your swift response!******
The transformer across the street has decided to get into the holiday spirit and put on a vibrant show of sparks and fire! The drive-in is without power and we unfortunately have to cancel tonight's screening of RUBY GILLMAN and JAWS.
All online tickets purchased for tonight's show will he refunded. We expect to be back up and running tomorrow!"
