Do you own a Honda vehicle or know anyone that does? This may be of importance to you.
Honda has declared a recall for more than 330,000 vehicles due to the heating pads situated behind both side-mirrors that may have not properly bonded, which may potentially lead the mirror’s glass to fall out.
This issue can cause an increase in the potential of vehicle crashes for Honda drivers affected.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has stated that affected vehicles do not comply with the requirements of rear visibility standards.
For Honda vehicles affected, there is a solution: Honda dealers will replace this issue free of charge.
Owner notification letters are expected to be sent out May 8, 2023.
Vehicles that are included in the recall are:
2020-2022 Odyssey
2020-2022 Passport
