The road is closed after a head-on crash involving a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer, Berks County emergency officials said.
According to the news report from the Reading Eagle, firefighters had to free a severely injured occupant from the passenger vehicle following the crash, which happened shortly after 12:30 p.m.
