Slight risk for severe thunderstorms expected Saturday including locally damaging wind gusts

According to the National Weather Service, the slight risk (2/5) for severe thunderstorms has been expanded to include most of our area. The primary threat is locally damaging wind gusts, although an isolated tornado is also possible. Additionally, winds outside of the showers and storms will gust 40-50 mph at times through the evening.
